After a few years the pendant was tarnished even though I wiped it with the cloth and stored it in the cloth bag after wearing. I just love this piece. I purchased it on my cruise last year in Philipsburg St. Marten at Majesty jewelers. I loved the people that waited on me and helped me. I wore the piece home and in the airport I got many compliments on the piece. Even when I where it here at home everyone says something about it. It is very unique and it has a yellow cast in the middle . I am so happy I bought this .
